Raksha Bandhan

A Rakhi making activity was initiated for the children of 'Unicorn Child Development Centre' in Ambegaon, Pune on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. Children made rakhis in an experimental manner by making use of pearls, beads and various threads to make some attractive and beautiful rakhis, For the festival that celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters, Our girls at Unicorn celebrated Raksha Bandhan with full enthusiasm by expressing their gratitude towards the police for always honouring their duty of protecting its citizens by tying a Rakhi at a Bharti Vidyapeeth police station.
We believe that education is the best gift any girl could receive in order to secure her future. Girls in our Unicorn once lived on the streets with little hope for the future. Through Unicorn we have not only provided a roof of love but also of security. Now they are full of dreams and have positive aspirations for life and are looking forward to higher education.
We encouraged people to tie a Rakhi of affection and responsibility by securing Unicorn sisters' future through education.
“When you educate a girl, you educate her entire community”
