Nikhil, a 5 months old, is our little warrior who was fighting for his life against a large- sized ventricular septal defect (VSD) at such a young age. Poor infant Nikhil had to face such major challenge at an early age due to the chronic heart disease, and he had been advised to have his VSD surgery at earliest.

Every scream of Nikhil was piercing through the hearts of his parents like hundreds of needles.Nikhil’s father works as a driver on a rented vehicle with a mere amount of Rs. 1,750

per month and shoulders the weight of their family as he is the only breadwinner of the family..

Surgery was the only hope for Nikhil’s survival, at an approximate estimated cost of Rs. 2,25,000.
